Bio:

Karl Kels was born in 1960 in Düsseldorf. He works as a freelance artist with film, photography and installation. He studied from 1980–1987 at the Städelschule in Frankfurt/Main and at Cooper Union in New York City, under Peter Kubelka and Robert Breer. His works are in private and public collections, like Anthology Film Archives, New York, Museum für Moderne Kunst, Frankfurt, FRAC – Alsace, Sélestat, Österreichisches Filmmuseum, Wien, Centre Pompidou, Paris and the Musee d´Art Moderne, Strasbourg.
